Humans are always in touch with the needs this life. In order to survive, one of most important examples is need for safety needs. The phenomenal drama Othello by Shakespeare was chosen as main data source research. This research aimed analyze unfulfilled form anxiety and its impact on character Shakespeare's "Othello". set 1603 a tragedy written world-famous playwright William Shakespeare. story that ended inseparable from used others overthrow power family. With these problems, researchers explored factor using Maslow's psychological theory about hierarchy needs, especially at level qualitative descriptive method because collection technique describe analysis through words sentences exist source. approach literary work. results found there an underlie Othello's feeling he threatened.
